The Video Editor will work on producing engaging quality content that speaks to our audience and boosts engagement with our brand. The candidate will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing videos for internal and external purposes. As video has become the best way for communicating company’s messages on online platforms, this position will play an important role in our company’s success.Responsibilities:
· Be able to take things from conception to the finished stage· Work both on and off-site· Manage and oversee all technical aspects of video recording and editing· Follow the company’s brand guidelines· Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity· Develop an overall video brand messaging strategy
Skills
Preferred Skills:
· A keen eye for detail and a critical mind· Be able to take things from conception to the finished stage· Proactive problem-solving and a positive can-do attitude· Experience working on a variety of creative video projects· Capture studio-quality photographs and video· Create graphics, text and subtitles, animations, and motion graphics· Experience creating video for social media and/or strong familiarity with social videoRequired Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Film Editing, Graphic Design or similar· Ability to collaborate well with other creative professionals to supply clients with top-notch finalized products· Minimum 3 years’ experience in Video Editing· Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, and Final Cut Pro X
