Windows File server and Distributed File System (DFS) Management
Maintaining FSMO roles
Follow CM process for all production activities e.g. domain/Apps/Server migration, installation etc.
Coordination with global team to add/modify/delete of DNS, DHCP entries.
Coordinating with global team for DNS and DHCP related issues
Implement Zurich standard security policies on windows servers
Capacity Management of Windows servers (Disk space, RAM, CPU)
SSL Certificate request, installation and maintenance of windows-based applications
Monthly servers MS patching and File restoration drill
Upgrade and configure system software that supports GIS infrastructure applications or Asset Management applications as per project or operational requirement
Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures.
Performance tuning and resource optimization as required
Active Directory Services
Active directory services monitoring and administration.
Implement, manage and migrate GPO (Group Policy management) Policies
Maintain connectivity to Enterprise Directory
Implement industry and group standard security best practices
Authenticate service requests using Enterprise Directory structure; Provide authentications for all AD-provided Services (apps, file and print, mail, desktop, etc.).
Provide and manage trust relationships to existing business-unit domains.
Remove objects from Active Directory as requested by Zurich.
Verifying and monitoring that all domain controllers are communicating with each other.
Monitoring and managing network ports, disk space, memory, processor utilization on all servers.
Taking system state backup of Active directory
Administration e.g. create and manage user accounts
Administration e.g. create and manage directory structures, domains and volumes
Manage and administer access rights and security permission on shared folders
Monitoring and Administration of On-prem MS Exchange 2016 setup
Troubleshoot Exchange Server related issues
Provide technical support on the migration from exchange on-prem setup to O365 (Cloud)
Capacity and performance management
Coordination with vendor whenever required
Perform monthly mailbox/database backup & restore tests
Provide technical support for Servers that support messaging technologies, remote computing devices and hand-held devices (e.g. iPhone).
Assist with creation/maintenance of, and troubleshoot/resolve issues with access, conference rooms, public folders, calendars, email lists, mailboxes, client configurations and other accounts required to support the business requirements.
Provide search and data restore as requested by Zurich departments/functions such as e.g. legal, security, audit, and HR
Keeping architecture diagrams updated
Maintain the SOP documents for the ME Lotus infrastructure
Messaging – Technical Support
Create and manage all Server replication topologies if falling under the current baseline number of servers and within the existing technologies supported.
Administer and manage all database agents running on messaging Servers.
Implement, and maintain messaging Services monitoring and alerting strategy monitor gateways and connectors and troubleshoot both intranet and Internet email delivery issues perform mailbox load balancing.
Maintain and troubleshoot internal email routing for ME
Coordinate with following service requests with Global MDM team for external routing issues
